What does Massif offer for end-users?

Buying, installing, activating and then managing software is generally a sub-optimal experience. It's stuffy, old, a tad funky and can sometimes be quite complicated.

Customers should be able to find, purchase and then use what they need, when they need it!

The Massif App Store solves this by combining our unique cloud, desktop, and server app infrastructure. Intelligently connecting users from the same organisation. Making the task of user and management, a far simpler process, than with traditional desktop and cloud based licensing, and purchasing systems.

How do we help Developers?

The process that developers have to go through to securely license, protect, sell, and then distribute their work, has historically been daunting, costly and complex.

We are building the Massif Platform from the ground-up to change that. Delivering a highly-connected platform using non-dependent cloud tools when it makes sense, while securely integrating with desktop and server tools.

Massif enables software developers to fairly sell, protect and distribute their work, while seamlessly supporting their customers

The ultimate goal is to create a premium software ecosystem and world-class community for all involved.

Who is Massif?

Our History

Our Massif journey started when CADPRO Systems started reselling and supporting Autodesk's CAM software. Inevitably this led to us learning how to create custom post processors. Post processors are effectively like printer drivers that convert the graphical toolpaths laid over top of a 3D model into code the CNC machine can understand.

A lot of time and effort goes into developing posts by everyone involved. Which breeds a need to protect our work and our customer's investment. Not only did we want to protect our IP, but a post processor is a proven piece of software which plays a significant role in driving physical machinery in the presence of humans. Making it tamper-proof can be highly desirable for most business owners.

With that in mind, we set about creating a way to license and control the distribution of Autodesk HSM / Fusion 360 CAM post processors to our customers. We needed it to be fair, easy to use, fast and reliable.

Very quickly we realised that we were creating a licensing and distribution tool, for any kind of software on both Windows PC's and Apple Macs.
